Editing bugs and watching Whoopi Goldberg. I went to the Interfaith House today for an art reception for the mural I did there as well as another artist's large scale painting and individual work by residents there. I was surprised by the beauty of some of the residents' work. They have some structured time of varied activities and one of them is "Art Exploration." There was clear art training in some of the artwork on display. It was humbling to observe the simple fact that people of all walks of life can use a helping hand at times and comforting to know that places exit for such a purpose. I am grateful for the people who organize and run Interfaith House and also for its residents who have made their way there with the hopes of bettering their situation in life.
